Warley Calendar 2017 – Photos Needed of Warley Walks

The proposed theme for the 2017 Warley calendar is Warley Walks.

The walks are detailed in the leaflet Walks around Warley produced by Friends of Calderdale’s Countryside and Calderdale Council. The four walks are titled: Warley Wander, Historic Warley, Valley Views, and Warley West & North.

We would like recent and historic photos of the landmarks and views on these walks to feature on the calendar.

Landmarks include: Warley village lantern, The Maypole Inn, The Institute, Warley House Gardens, Congregational Chapel, The Grange, Warley Cricket Club grounds, Warley Town School, Warley Cemetery, The Winterburn, Westfield House, Shepherd House Farm, Cromwell Mount House, Warley Lodge, Norton Lodge, Bank End Farm, The Manse, Edgeholme House, The Hollins, Haigh House, South Clough Head, Littlemoor Farm, St John’s Church

Views areas include: Paradise Lane, Pigman Lane, Winterburn Lane, Great Edge Lane, Butts Green Lane, Deep Lane, Sentry Edge, Heath Hill Road, Raw End Lane, Workhouse Lane, Warley Town Lane, Newlands Road, Roils Head Road, Peter Lane, Edgeholme Lane, Stock Lane, Cliff Hill Lane, Witty Lane, Dark Lane, Naylor’s Walk
