Warley Museum Project

The WCA has recently adopted the rather shabby and rarely used BT telephone box situated at The Maypole Inn in Warley village. This adoption is in accordance with the British Telecom ‘Adopt a Kiosk’ programme and it is with the approval of Calderdale Council.

The telephone box is currently undergoing much-needed renovation and it is set to be transformed into Warley Museum with an anticipated opening by late summer/early autumn.

If you have any artefact (photo, picture, public notice, press cutting, letter or object) related to Warley history that you would like to loan or donate to this project, then do please contact Eliana Bailey on (01422) 839458 or June Illingworth on (01422) 833824.
