Warley Heritage Walk

Over 30 hardy souls braved the blustery conditions for Sunday’s “Maypoles, Milnes & McCrea” guided walk around Warley organised by Calderdale Heritage Walks

Our host, the excellent Iain Cameron, provided a fascinating and knowledgeable insight into the buildings, countryside and people that make Warley what it is today whilst strolling along the lanes and tracks in and around the village.  This walk, first introduced last year is well worth the £3 participation fee so watch out for a repeat performance in 2014!

This sounded a really good event – wish I’d been there.
